Smallholder Farmer Training

We provide training to local farmers to enhance their existing knowledge as they seek to improve their income security through conservation and organic farming practices and improved use of seeds. We explore with them how they can reduce their post harvest losses and provide training on pest control and entry to the supply chain.

So far we have supported 538 farmers across 8 communities.

Value Addition Training

The majority of farmers and small businesses are primary producers. A farmer will sell their crops in their natural state. We provide training to community members to assist them to create a product from primary goods which they can then sell at a higher price. This might be soap, dried vegetables or chilli sauce.

So far we have provided value addition training to 17 community members.
