We are very proud that since the launch of ‘Street Business School (SBS),’ in 2020, Livingstone Tanzania Trust (LTT) has strengthened the future sustainability of Babati by building the entrepreneurial skills, knowledge and confidence of the community.

In a region where an unpredictable climate, crop diseases and pernicious pests constantly threaten the profitability of yields, farming offers a precarious existence. The exploration of other income sources is imperative.

With the focus on sustainability and income diversity, LTT and SBS has guided members of Babati’s rural farming communities, supporting them as they commence entrepreneurial ventures - deeply rewarding journeys that have enriched lives and communities in equal measure. 

Those individuals already pursuing alternative methods of income generation have also benefited from business skills training at SBS, enabling them to improve their existing enterprises.
