Sawe School - 3 more classrooms added
We are delighted to share the good news that 3 more classrooms have been built in a partnership between LTT, MCDO (our local delivery partners), the Babati Town Council, the Sawe Community and School Development Committees and LTT’s donor partners.
The 3 rooms are currently classrooms but in time one has the capacity to be used as a library or IT learning centre.
The school now has 2 classrooms for each year group including kindergarten and is the FIRST government School in the Manyara Region to achieve that.
20,000 litres of rainwater storage was added to the school.
The floors are tiled and their is a plasterboard ceiling. The classrooms all have electricity and lights and the walls have teaching aids as determined by the teachers and are appropriate to the age of the students who will use the rooms.
